American author and philosopher Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862) is a leading figure in the history of world literature. In his book Walden he reflected upon simple living in natural surroundings and an ecologically sustainable life. Reading Thoreau inspired us to develop a sustainable concept for water solutions – and what could be more suiting than naming it after him?
